Kathryn (or Kate as we lovingly call her) possesses an empathetic and genuine interest in improving the quality of life in others and thrives on helping people be the best they can be. She has a strong focus on providing individualised treatments for every person, in order to specifically address the patient’s unique concerns.
Throughout her studies, Kathryn eagerly developed her understanding of various styles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, including a strong affinity in treating the body with a Japanese style of Acupuncture. Japanese acupuncture involves a very gentle form of treatment and focuses on abdominal palpation. Cupping, Tui Na (Chinese Massage) and Moxibustion may be utilised in treatments, along with Manaka protocols which are predominately used in scar treatments.
Kathryn holds a degree in ‘Bachelor of Health Science (Acupuncture), is a proud member of Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA), and Australian Health Practitioners Regulatory Agency (AHPRA).
