This scrumptious recipe is from our very own Superfood Nut, Tulsi! Apart from the dates, everything you need for this one is available at Saltuary.. yum, yum, yum!


1 cup of raw cashews (blend until smooth / finely chopped or you can use cashew or almond butter)

2 Tbs of raw honey

2 Tbs of cacao powder

1 tsp of vanilla powder / paste / bean

8 dates soaked for 3-4 hours

Small handul of sour cherries (optional)

Coconut for coating

Blend together, except coconut, until smooth. Mould into small balls with hands. Roll in desiccated coconut and place in fridge until hard…if you can wait that long 🙂
